Marriage

Since 1960, the number of married Americans of all ages has dropped from 72% to 52%; the number of married twenty-somethings fell from 68% to 26%. Marriage is largely ignored, neglected, and rejected. Prince William and Kate Middleton lived together eight months before they married.

The result of the deterioration of marriage is unfulfilled adults, wayward children with numerous “syndromes,” and Christians losing their effectiveness in cultural impact.

By God’s grace through His Spirit, believers can make marriage (and most relationships) a growing joy. Relationships can be one of life’s greatest achievements.
