The Church Fathers loved and died for the Scriptures in the first three centuries of Christianity. Our nation’s Founding Fathers loved the Bible, as well. Patrick Henry said, “The Bible is worth all other books which have ever been printed.” George Washington said, “It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible.”

Let us believe, defend, and live out God’s Word! When we “hold it forth,” much good is manifested: we get stronger, we discover fulfillment, we expand the Kingdom, we help bring joy to others.

“Alone No More, A Gathering for Widows of All Ages” will meet in the Fellowship Center on Saturday, February 25th, at 10:30 a.m. for a “Tea Party”. Bring your favorite tea cup and saucer. Another Bridge Ministry – Feb 26th Lunch

You can have a part in renewing the FSBCS support of our former transitional housing ministry,now called “The Bridge2Hope!” Amy Sue Seiser (the continuing director), April Walker, and Sallie Jarboe, are sponsoring an info lunch on Sunday February 26, in the Fellowhsip Center for all who want to hear about the reorganized and independent Christian minstry!

Please sign up at a ministry table outside the Worship Center for the Sunday, February 26, noon info luncheon, sponsored by Sallie Jarboe, April Walker, and AmySue Seiser (Director of the Bridge2Hope). Or, you can sign by emailing Sallie (buterflie04@yahoo.com) or April (jawalker2307@cox.net) now! We want people to come for any of the following reasons: learn about the ministry, learn to pray for the ministry, learn how to support the ministry financially, and learn what is involved in being a “team” member for a family our church sponsors. True Faith

Western Civilization is a negative term among pseudo-intellectuals today. Because of the West’s weaknesses (e.g; jingoism, colonialism, arrogant religious approaches), liberals have convinced historically ignorant souls that “dead white men” (heroes of traditional western history) were all phonies and destructive. Some were, of course.

True Judaism and Christianity, though, comprise the foundation of what’s good in Western Civilization: racial equality and respect; manners; work ethic; individual responsibility and freedoms; altruism. Know your faith, and your history! Remind others you are not ashamed of the true faith-and the teachings it provides.
