Scottsdale Passion Play 2012
Thursday, Friday & Saturday — April 5th, 6th & 7th, 2012. This will be our 14th annual production of the Scottsdale Passion Play. It is a dramatic musical depicting the life, ministry, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. The production features a 50 voice choir accompanied by full orchestra, 50 costumed characters, and professional lighting and effects. Each year the audience witnesses the events of Jesus’ life from the perspective of one of the biblical characters portrayed on stage.
The 2012 production is entitled, “Breaking Through”. Through the use of Peter’s experience with Cornelius — a Gentile, Jesus’ teaching of “who is my neighbor” and the Good Samaritan, and Jesus’ experience with the Samaritan Woman, the audience will witness how Jesus broke through racial barriers to ensure salvation is available for every man and woman or every race and background.
Join us on either Thursday, Friday or Saturday evening in the Worship Center at 7:00pm as we prepare for Easter!
