Senior Adults Adults of all ages crave significance in life. FSBCS adults gather in Bible Study groups at 9:15 on Sunday mornings (and alternate times); check out the Beverage Ministry table (including donuts!) and the Welcome Center table at the Worship Center entrance. Discipleship courses through Adult Choir Rehearsal and "Theology in Overalls" (led by our Pastor) on Wednesday evenings, and numerous ministry opportunities add to the list of ways adults can find spiritual meaning in life and help expand Christ's Kingdom. "On Mission" living for adults can include any of almost fifty "on campus," "beyond the walls," and "in partnership" ministries that impact the lives of others for all eternity. Our Senior Adult Ministry Leader is Christine Norton (480.948.7692; mcnorton@qwest.net). She plans regular luncheons, trips and programs for retired or nearly-retired adults. The "Jubilee Choir" is composed of senior adults under the direction of Dale Harris (602.667.5956; dahlehs@cox.net). This group rehearses one Tuesday morning each month and ministers in local care centers the other Tuesdays. |
