"GOING DEEP . . . IN SIMPLE SCRIPTURES!" Did you know that one of the evidences that God's Word is divinely inspired is its layers of truth at almost every point? Join us all summer long in the 10:30 Morning Worship Celebrations as Pastor Norwood seeks to "drill down" and explore rich meanings in some of his favorite simple and common passages in Scripture! We will begin, June 6th, reliving the story of Nicodemus and display some amazing truths found in the simple words, "You must be born again" (John 3:7). Throughout the summer, we will do the same with passages such as "The revelation of Jesus Christ" (Revelation 1:1-3), "I go to prepare a place for you" (John 14:2), "At ease in Zion" (Amos 6:1), "I will build my church" (Matthew 16:18), "The Lord is my shepherd" (Psalm 23:1), and many others. August - September 2009 The recent movie with Tom hanks broached the subject of good and evil, angels and demons, right and wrong--the Bible accurately covers the subject in detail!
